I definitely enjoy taking pictures. I think I first started getting somewhat serious about taking pictures around six years ago. I think the reason that I first got into taking pictures was because I received a digital camera for my birthday. Although I had never really been into taking pictures, I thought the digital camera was really cool, so I decided to play around with it. What I discovered is since I could instantly delete pictures I didn’t like, I wasn’t hesitant to take lots of pictures. Because I was taking so many pictures, I slowly started to develop my talent.

As time went on, I continued taking just as many pictures. Additionally, I slowly upgraded to better and better cameras. However, I always stuck to digital cameras, because I liked the freedom that they gave me to take as many pictures as I wanted. While it didn’t happen overnight, all of this practice and learning slowly paid off, and I began to get quite good at taking pictures.

Fast forward to the present, and not only am I using a top of the line digital camera, but I am actually working as a freelance photographer! I never expected to go down this career path, but it is where I ended up, and in all honesty I couldn’t be more happy about it. It’s a great feeling to get paid to do what you love.

One of the reasons that I have been able to become a professional is thanks to online foto albums. Because online foto albums allow me to share my work with the world, I have been able to attract interest and even clients from all over the place (instead of just being limited to my local market).
